The annual Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey circus will stomp, squawk and bellow its way into Hampton on April 19 for a series of performances that will run through April 22.
Promotions list Feb. 10 as the official beginning of ticket sales, but a presale event is happening now.
Shoppers who use the code ELEPHANT will recieve 20 percent off tickets regularly priced at $22 for select performances. That brings the ticket prices down by $4.40, or $17.60.
Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Hampton Coliseum box office, which is the best way to avoid heavy Ticketmaster fees. There is a $2.50 facility fee at the Coliseum box office.
The discount is not valid on these shows: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21. The discount also is not valid on kids tickets, Circus Celebrity, front row or VIP seats. Regularly priced tickets range from $22 to $90.70.
The discount ends at midnight Feb. 9.

Use the code M5723 to save 20 percent on tickets at the circus shows in both Hampton and Norfolk. The Norfolk Scope show runs April 12-15. Tickets for the Scope shows range from $22 to $90.85, with opening night tickets as low as $13. The opening night tickets do not appear to be available yet.

More circus discounts are sure to come as the show dates near.
Last year, a $4 discount was offered in the days leading up to the show. Military members could buy tickets for $12 and all children's tickets cost $10.
